William Landry practices primarily in construction, infrastructure, and real estate law. He advises and assists various industry stakeholders on legal issues arising from project execution, contract management, and dispute resolution. His career has enabled him to develop a practical understanding of the unique realities of the construction and real estate development sectors.
Throughout his career, William has practiced both in private practice and at one of Quebec’s largest public project owners, where he supported project management teams in the execution of large-scale infrastructure projects. These experiences have allowed him to work alongside contractors, project managers, property owners, and public organizations, while developing a deep understanding of the legal and commercial challenges these stakeholders face.
His practice focuses in particular on the analysis and interpretation of contracts, risk assessment, construction claims, contract negotiation, drafting legal opinions, and dispute resolution. He also represents his clients in proceedings before general and administrative courts when the situation requires it.
Known for his approachable manner, his willingness to listen, and his thoroughness, William prioritizes pragmatic advice tailored to his clients’ objectives. He strives to offer solutions that take into account both the legal considerations and the operational realities specific to construction and real estate projects.
