Prior to joining the Construction Law team, Laurier Gauthier developed an expertise in construction law by representing and advising contractors, engineering and architectural firms and real estate owners in the planning and execution of their projects. In addition, Laurier worked from 1990 to 1998 as an engineer for a major international construction company.
He has published articles on construction law and given several conferences on construction and the environment, in addition to providing in-house training in these fields.
In addition to acting as a mediator, Laurier regularly intervenes to assist his clients in the implementation of alternative solutions to resolve disputes.
Since 1990 : Member of the Order of Engineers.
2001 to 2004 : President of the Quebec and Chaudière-Appalaches regional chapter of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
2000 to 2001 : Treasurer of the Quebec and Chaudière-Appalaches regional chapter of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
